10 Ways To Become More Confident

1. Smile :) Not only will it brighten up your day, it will make others around you smile too. Smile not only because life is full of reasons to smile but because your smile itself is a reason for others to smile.

2. At the end of each day, write down something you think you did well, for example: My teacher praised me for getting full marks on a test or I stood up for a friend who was being bullied; and put it into a jar. From time to time, look through all the bits and pieces of paper you have put into the jar and you will see how much you have accomplished in life.

3. Listen to songs that makes you happy, not ones that makes you want to shut yourself off from the world and cry all by yourself in your room. Listen to something upbeat and lively :)

4. Believe that you're in a confidence bubble. Kind of like you're wearing an invisibility coat. Try to block out all the negative thoughts thrown at you. Treat the confidence bubble as if it's your shield. It repels back all the negative words thrown at you.

5. Love what you wear. When you look good, it changes the way you feel about yourself. This will make you confident with presenting yourself to the world. Dress good to feel good :)

6. Walk with a purpose. Believe that you have a reason to be in this world. Walk with your head up high, shoulders straight like you have got somewhere to be.

7. Make eye contact with the person you are talking to or are talking.

8. Next time you're at a party or social gathering, meet someone new. The girl/guy sitting by himself in the corner looks like a good person to start with. When you are able to make new friends, it helps with boosting up your confidence.

9. Clear out the clutter in your life. A messy room equals a messy mind. Coming home from school/work to a clean room is much more inviting then a messy, depressing room. A clean room gives you the opportunity to clear out your mind.

10. Stop comparing yourself to others. No one is made to be like one another. Everyone is unique and different in their own way. Weight and height is all just a number. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Focusing on your positive qualities, rather than comparing yourself to others, is a great way to boost up self-confidence.
