Why did we want to grow up so fast?

When we were a kid, all we wanted was to grow up. 
WHY? 
Juice becomes alcohol,
Candy becomes weed,
Wafer sticks becomes cigarettes,
Butter knifes becomes razor blades,
Scraped knees become slit wrist,
Death becomes a trend,
Goodbyes meant forever,
Love becomes complicated,
2 + 2 becomes 2x * (5 + 7) * 6 = 5x / 78,
Timeouts become expulsion/suspension,
Training bras become push-up bras
Footie pyjamas become lingerie,
Kisses become sex,
Bicycles become cars,
Society becomes messed up,
Everything seems impossible
Trust becomes non-existent,
Nice girls become sluts,
Nice guys become jerks,
Broken pencil become broken hearts,
Bickers becomes full-on fights,

Now tell me again, why when we were a kid, we wanted to grow up so fast? If I could, then I would turn back time to when I was a child again. If Neverland really existed, I would fly there and be like Peter Pan; staying young forever.

In Life....

In life, there are people who will hurt us and cause us pain;
But we must learn to forgive and forget and not hold grudges.

In life, there are mistakes that we will make;
But we must learn from our wrongs and grow from them.

In life, there are regrets we will have to live with;
But we must learn to leave the past behind and realise that it is something that we can't change.

I miss these things...

• Waking up at 8.00am just to watch morning cartoons.
• Not caring what I look like or how I dress like.
• Not worrying if he would like me
• Getting dirty from playing in the park and coming home to take a bubble bath.
• When swearing was such a bad thing
• When there wasn't a such a thing called rumor
• When getting trouble in school is only because you wouldn't share

One Direction

One Direction, they are my favourite boy band in the entire world. They have truly inspired me and has a big impact in my life. One Direction consists of five boys; Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik. I found out about them in 2010, during the X Factor. Louis auditioned with Hey There Delilah, Harry with Isn't She Lovely, Liam with Cry Me A River, Niall with So Sick and Zayn with Let Me Love You. They auditioned as solo artists but failed to qualify for the Boys category. After the suggestion from the guest judge, Nicole Scherzinger,(they were too precious to let go) they were put together to form a boy band, thus qualifying for the groups category. ONE DIRECTION WAS BORN! (23rd of July 2010 at 8.22pm). They did not win the X Factor. They placed third but Simon Cowell signed them to Syco Music.
They are a huge impact in my life as their music inspires me and I can relate to it. In addition to that, I love their fun personalities that never fails to brighten up my day or put a smile on my face and make me laugh. They bring so much emotions in my life. Their first ever hit single called What Makes You Beautiful that was released on the 11th of September 2011, certainly helped me through my hardship. I am rather self conscious and insecure about myself at that time especially after the surgery I had in August 2011. During my recovery period, WMYB was my favourite song that I listen to everyday. The song made me feel beautiful. It talks about the little things that girls do and not about how sexy or hot she is but they implied on natural beauty. Ever since then, I became a proud directioner and am proud to be part of the 1D family. I will and forever and always be a fan of One Direction. No matter what happens and although they don't know I exist, I'll be supporting them.

Thing One:

Louis William Tomlinson was born on the 24th of December 1991 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. He is the leader of the group or also known as the Swagmaster from Doncaster. He has brown hair and blue eyes. His favourite colour is dark red. His signature outfit is stripey t-shirt, red chinos and toms or long sleeve shirt, pants, suspenders (braces) and toms. He has a fear of aging and birds. He once had a job at Doncaster Rovers football stadium as a waiter in  their hospitality suites. Louis is a fan of Manchester United. Although he is 20, turning 21, he will forever and always be a kid at heart. He is known for his immature self and the ability to make people laugh. He has a very strong and lovely voice and certainly needs more solo's in the next album. Louis never fails to make me smile. He's always being his funny self in interviews, like playing nerf guns while being interviewed. I miss him in the X Factor video diaries. He makes me laugh until I'm on the verge of tears. He always brightens up my day when I'm feeling down. I also love his hair and his adorable baby face. People who send hates to him have no life. He is an awesome person and is special in his own way. I wish I have a chance to meet him, to tell him how much he means to me and give him a big hug and thanked him for all the days that he has made me smile when I was sad. Thing Two:

Harold Edward Styles was born on the 1st of February 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England. He is the flirt of the group and is rather cheeky too. He has a way with ladies; the boys think it's because of the curls. He used to be the lead singer of a band called White Eskimos. Before X Factor, Harry used to have a part time job at the Holmes Chapel, W Mandeville Bakery. He was the one who came up with the name One Direction. He has a very nice and strong voice that I believe every girl is in love with. He is a romantic and sweet guy. He's always out to compliment girls, making them feel beautiful. I really love his curly hair. If I get to meet him one day, I really want to touch his curly curly hair. Harry gives his all when it comes to performing; that's something I admire about him. I love his deep Cheshire accent and the way he pronounces words, it is just so cute! He always makes me smile and blush a little whenever he styles his own hair. He makes me melt! Those who send him hates, you might as well get a life! Harry has never done anything bad to you, why send hates to him just because of a mistake he did while singing. Everyone makes mistake, it only means we're human. I wish that I have a chance to meet him and to tell him how much he means to me and give him a big hug and thank him for making me smile by doing the simplest things. Thing Three:

Liam James Payne was born on the 29th of August 1993 in Wolverhampton, South Midlands, England. He is the sensible one the group or better known as daddy direction. Liam truly inspires me for his determination and perseverance in life. He has only one kidney as when he was young, one of his kidney was scarred dysfunctional. To help cope with the pain, he had to go through 32 injections in his arm in the morning and evening as a child. But look at him now, he's famous, has released an album, a dvd and two books. He's part of the boy band, One Direction. Liam is pretty much called the first-verse guy as he always starts of the song with his beautiful voice. He is a Disney lover, just like me. Liam always makes me smile whenever he does his 1, 2, 3 flick :) I admire his ways of doing a twitcam every once in awhile to tell fans that he appreciate us and without us, there will be no One Direction. Although he is the daddy of the group, I love it when he is all immature during the twitcam, cheering up my gloomy day. I like how he randomly makes animal voices while doing twitcam. Like he barks or quacks randomly. I love how he keeps promises like when he promised to do a twitcam with the boys and he did. Those who send hates to Liam seriously need to go get themselves checked. Liam is a very sweet and lovely guy. I wish I have a chance to meet him and tell him how much he means to me and give him a big hug and thank him for making those cute twitcams that always makes me smile and laugh. Thing Four:

Niall James Horan was born on the 13th of September 1993 in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. He is the funny one in the group and our Irish Leprechaun. He isn't a natural blonde. He is actually a dark brunette but bleached his hair when he was 12. Niall is our special snowflake. In the group, he is the only Irish one, the only one who is a left handed and the only one who doesn't have a sister but instead has a brother. He is a Nandos lover and has a super adorable laugh. I'm in love with his cute self and his adorable Irish accent. I love how he is so carefree and find almost everything hilarious. I love that he is such a Belieber. I love his passion for food and he can eat without getting fat. Niall has an angelic voice and needs more solo's in the upcoming album. I wish that I can meet management one day and tell them how awesome Niall is and that they shouldn't treat him differently. He's amazing! Those who send hates to Niall needs to punch themselves in the face. Niall is so sweet and adorable, harmless like a baby penguin. And to those who only like him after he started wearing braces to correct his teeth and going to gym, you people are dumb! For your information, I fell in love with Niall even before he started working out and wore braces. I wish I have a chance to meet him and tell him how much he means to me and give him a cuddly hug and thank him for being so cute and making my heart melt. Thing Five: 

Zayn Javadd Malik was born on the 12th of January 1993 in West Lane, Bradford, England. He is the vain one in the group or better known as Bradford Bad Boy and DJ Malik. He is a Muslim; his dad is a Pakistani and his mum is British. Although Zayn is a secret bad boy, he is actually kinda shy. He used to collect comics as a kid. Zayn wrote the verse that he sings in What Makes You Beautiful. I find it very cute when he bits his lips or pouts. It's so adorable! I like it when his hair is up in a quiff and I also like his hair when it looks like he just got out of the bed or out of the shower. I love Zayn's high pitch when he sings especially the one in Tell Me A Lie. That was amazing. He has an amazing voice, very melodious. I love how he likes the mirror, just like me. I can't help by smile really wide whenever he says 'Vas Sapning". It's so catchy and cute, yet funny. To all those who hate Zayn just because he's Muslim, go and bury yourself. I'm a Christian but I love Zayn and accept him for being who he is. Being a Muslim isn't going to stop me from loving him. He is who he is, a very special person. I wish I have a chance to meet him and tell him how much me means to me and give him a little cuddle and thank him for making me smile and for being adorably hot! There are lots more that I would like to say about them but just can't put them into words. I really wish that one day my dreams of meeting them would come true and that they will do an Asian tour someday. Although I may not be able to meet them anytime soon, seeing them on the television or youtube really lightens up my heart and makes me glow. It would really mean so much to me to even get noticed by them or least, having them read this post of mine and knowing how much they mean to me. One Direction, you've got that one thing! I love you guys!

Hey you!

Yes, you :) Stop being unhappy with yourself. You are imperfectly perfect. Stop wishing that you looked like someone else or wishing for people to like you as much as they like someone else. You are who you are for a reason. God made everyone to be special and unique in your very own way. The word ugly and hideous does not exist in God's dictionary. If you want to know what's my meaning of ugly? U.G.L.Y = U're Gorgeous, Love Yourself. Stop trying to get the attention from those who hate you. There are many others in the world who will love you for who you are. Stop hating your body, your face, your personality, your quirks and your flaws. Instead, love them! That's what makes you unique and different. You're special! Without those things, you wouldn't be you. And why do you want to be anybody else? Be confident with who you are and smile. Nothing drives your enemies crazier than seeing you have a good life. Just be yourself, it'll draw people in. These people will be the genuine ones that will stick by you when millions are against you. If anyone hates on you because you are happy with being yourself then just turn your back against them and walk off with your head held high. Do not stoop down to all those low-life people. They just want to make you feel bad about yourself to make them feel superior. Be proud of who you are. Each one of you are gorgeous. Intelligence is sexy; don't act dumb to get attention. Don't colour your face with make-up as if your face is a colouring book. Natural beauty wins it all. A little make-up is good, but don't marinate in it. It'll make you look like a barbie and by the way, barbies are plastic and fake; and that'll just attract the wrong attention. 

My happiness will not depend on others anymore. I'm happy because I love who God made me to be. I love my flaws and imperfections as they make me, me and 'me' is pretty amazing and rather awesome.

Spencer Kane

This is Spencer Kane., a good friend of mine. He's   15, turning 16 in October. He's from Kendallville,  Indiana. For his age, he is extremely talented and super amazing. He's AWE...wait for it.... SOME! :) He's not only gifted in music but he is gifted in sports as well. Congrats Spencer, for winning the tourneys. Really proud of ya. I've never met anyone as amazing as him. He treat his fans as friends and tries his best to interact with them. According to him, without fans, he'll just be singing to himself. This is why I admire him. I also admire his courage to step up and continue pursuing his singing after a couple of really experienced judges told him that he can sing. All of his original music is written by him with the help of his dad and his dad's cousin. He's really really talented and needs to be noticed by some big shot person who will give him a record deal. He really deserves it. But no matter what, I'm still proud of my friend Spencer Kane :)

Childhood Days

I miss being a kid. I miss having birthdays parties in class with cupcakes and party bags with junk food and sweets in it. I still remember those times when I would fall asleep on the couch and wake up the next morning on the bed. I miss being able to run around playing freeze tag, police and thief, What Time Is It, Mr. Wolf, etc without getting tired. I miss putting my head down on the pillow at night and knocking right out with no worries or cares. But now before bed, tons of thought will be running through my head, disrupting my sleep and I always end up in tears. I miss eating how much I want without the thought of how much weight that I'm going to gain. Now the society calls you fat if they see you taking extras or even taking an extra cookie or two. I miss waking up on Saturday mornings to watch early morning cartoons like Teletubbies and Pokemon. I miss not being stressed up and when everything was pure and simple. Now I've got to handle the stress of relationships, society and peer pressure. I miss being able to dress up as I like. Now I've got to worry whether am I wearing the latest trend or am I wearing last weeks fashion. I miss being able to be me and not be labelled as a punk, goth, prep, tomboy, popular or loner. I miss the times when everyone was innocent and didn't think too much. Now I've got to watch every single word I say as the minds of the society is corrupted. I miss those times where you can listen to any kind of music without being judged. Now you got to listen to the latest artist. If you listen to old school music, people think you're lame. HELLO? Since when music has an expiry date? But what I miss most of all, was the time that never seemed to run out. Now I'm rushing for time. I'm growing up too fast meaning my brother is leaving to university soon, my favourite cousins are becoming adults and my parents are aging. Will time just slow down? I still want to be a kid. I'm not ready for college. I'm not ready to wake up and not see my brother at home. I don't want to lose my parents, I'm nothing without them. But sadly, time waits for no one. I just got to make with the time I have. No matter how fast I grow up, there's a promise that I made to myself, I'll always be a kid at heart.  

This song makes me cry everytime. It reminds me of the times when I was a baby; cute and innocent and then I grew into a toddler. From a toddler to a kid. From a kid to a teen. I'm in my teen years now and in a couple of years I'm off to University in a foreign country. Then I'll be an adult. But no matter what I'll always be a daddy's girl and the very same infant my mummy held on the first day.

Hope

When all about you is black with gloom,
