One Direction Isn't An Inspiration?

Harry : Made me believe that you don't need to be super skinny and gorgeous to get a guy. He taught me that age isn't the biggest problem in any kind of relationship .





Niall: Taught me that it is okay to be different. He made me believe that some guys will really wait for the girl of their dreams, and not just the other way around. 

Louis: Made me believe that it's okay to be immature no matter how old you are. He taught me that people can change and to dress how I like no matter what people say to me.







Liam: Convinced me that if I want something bad enough and if I keep on trying, I will reach my goals even if I fail the first time. He also inspired me to change it up every so often.





Zayn: Taught me that being shy can be a good thing sometimes. Also he taught me that it's okay to be happy with your appearance and to love yourself. 





Now do you believe me? If not, one last thing: They make girls feel beautiful and brought fans closer together. We are a family, a 1D family. Never ever say that 1D isn't an inspiration for they are a huge inspiration in my life <3

Happy Birthday, One Direction

Happy Birthday, One Direction. Two years ago, on this exact day, One Direction was born. In 2010, Niall, Liam, Zayn, Harry and Louis auditioned for X-Factor as solo artists but got put together as a group in bootcamp where they came in third. Then they signed a 2 million record contract with Syco Records. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was watching them on the X-Factor.

 In 2011, they participated in The X-Factor Live Tour, performing to 500000 throughout the UK. They then begun to work on their debut album, recording it in Sweden, UK and US. They released their debut single, What Makes You Beautiful in September landing at number one and also became the most pre-ordered Sony Music Entertainment single in history. Singles 'Gotta Be You' and 'One Thing' peaked within the UK Single Chart Top 10. In December, they started their first UK 'Up All Night' Tour.

In 2012, What Makes You Beautiful  was released in the US in February debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 28 becoming the highest Billboard Hot 100 debut for UK act since 1998. In March, they made their first television appearance in the US on The Today Show; an estimation of 15000 fans showed up. Their album, Up All Night, debuted at number one in the US, making them the first UK group in US chart history to debut at number one. At the Brits award in February, they won Best British Single with What Makes You Beautiful winning over artists like Adele and Ed Sheeran. They have just completed the whole Up All Night tour and are recording their second album now. Very recently, on the 22nd of July, One Direction won three awards at the TCA (Teen Choice Awards); they won Choice Love Song with What Makes You Beautiful, Choice Summer Music Star Group and also Choice Music Breakout Group. They won not one award but THREE! 

From the X-Factor to sold out concerts to winning the Brits and yesterday they won 3 awards at the TCA (Teen Choice Awards). Words just can't explain how proud I am of them. They deserve every single thing that has happen to them. They will make it big and they will make it far. I just can't find enough words to describe how much they mean to me and how much I love them. Although they are far away from me, they are not far from my heart. Once a directioner, always a directioner and a directioner I will always be. One Direction is a part of me that I will never let go.

Find someone who isn't afraid to admit that they miss you. Someone who knows that you're not perfect, but treats you as if you are.  Someone who's biggest fear is losing you. One who gives their heart completely. Someone who not only says the word I love you but also shows that he/she loves you with their actions. Last but not least, find someone who wouldn't mind waking up with you in the morning, seeing you in wrinkles and gray hair but still falls in love with you over and over again.

One Direction - End of the Up All Night Tour

So basically, the Up All Night tour has officially ended. Next year, new tour, new album, new songs and even new clothes but hopefully they'll stay the same cuties that I am ever so in love with. I'm incredibly proud of the boys. Look at where they are now. From X-Factor to sold out concerts to winning the Brits. I can't explain how proud I am of the boys. Currently Niall is back in Ireland, Harry is in London, Liam is also in London with his gorgeous girlfriend Danielle, Zayn's in Bradford and Louis is in France with beautiful Eleanor. But there is one thing that I am sad about the tour ending, I never got to experience an Up All Night tour because I live in Asia and they have yet to do an Asian tour. I am just crossing my fingers and just hoping that one day they will do an Asian tour. That'll be like a dream come true. There's nothing more than I could ask for. I just want to have a chance to meet them. Whether it is for 5 seconds or for an entire day, I don't care. I heard that they will be performing for the iTunes Festival 2012 in London, UK on the 20th of September. I was thrilled at first thinking that I would finally get a chance to meet them since I will be in London on the 20th of September but to my dismay, tickets aren't sold. They have to be won and it's only legible for UK residents. So I had to say goodbye to my one and only chance of meeting them. But no matter what, although I have never met them nor do they know I exist, I will always love them. Proud to be part of the One Direction Family and certainly proud to be a true directioner. One Direction, YOU GOT THAT ONE THING! Hopefully my dreams of meeting you or even getting noticed by you will come true.
